Frequently Asked Questions

Have a question for our team? Want to know if it’s time for your next appointment or learn more about our payment options? Below, you’ll find answers to some of the most common questions our patients ask us every day. If you happen to have a question that we haven’t answered here, please just give us a call and ask! We’re always happy to talk dentistry and make sure you completely understand your options.

According to our doctors as well as the American Dental Association, everyone age three and up should go to the dentist at least twice a year (or every 6 months) for a checkup and cleaning. This is the best way to keep your smile looking beautiful and avoid preventable problems such as tooth decay, cavities, gum disease, and more.
We sure do! We’re happy to welcome entire families to our dental office, and that includes Altamonte Springs’ littlest citizens. Our team has years of experience serving children, so we’ll know exactly how to take care of their teeth and make sure they’re comfortable the entire time.
The American Dental Association does not recognize cosmetic dentistry as a specialty, so any general dentist can claim to be a cosmetic dentist. To choose a good cosmetic dentist, review a doctor's before-and-after photos of actual cases, ask about his or her postgraduate education in cosmetic dentistry, and make sure that you feel confident and comfortable in the dental office.
Dental insurance is quite diverse. Some policies cover only a small percentage of fees, while others cover 50% or greater. The more you or your employer pays in premiums, the better the coverage in most cases. Dental insurance typically covers some restorative and preventive procedures while cosmetic treatments are not usually covered. If you have questions, give us a call, and we can give you an idea of what your insurance will cover.
The answer to this question is as diverse as our many cosmetic dentistry patients. At our dental office, we don't believe in a one-size-fits-all solution. Such a thing just doesn't exist! Your smile, personality, needs, and lifestyle are unique to you, so we approach cosmetic enhancements with a personal consultation and customized treatment plan. Smile design done with care requires an understanding of a patient's individuality, so your doctor will thoroughly discuss your goals, preferences, and options. Generally speaking, we may suggest porcelain veneers, teeth whitening, all-white restorations, and/or replacement teeth. Invisalign clear aligners can provide straighter teeth without compromising your image during treatment. To find out what we recommend for your specific situation, call today to schedule a cosmetic dentistry consultation.
Your safety and comfort are very important to us. We ensure that our dental office exceeds all ADA and CDC standards for cleanliness and safety. Every instrument is sterilized and wrapped before your visit, and we use quality, disposable products when possible. We've also invested in laser diagnostic tools as well as digital X-rays to ensure that all aspects of patient treatment are more conservative, safe, and comfortable. If you'd like to take a look around our facilities ahead of your appointment, just set up a walkthrough with one of our team members. We know you'll be impressed with our immaculate, modern dental office.
For your convenience, we accept cash, check, and major credit cards, including MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express. Third-party financing is also available through CareCredit for qualified applicants. Learn more about this option and apply online through the CareCredit website.
